Original vintage Sun Microsystems SPARCstation 2 workstation manufactured in 1991.

Testing performed:
The workstation powers on successfully and produces video output. It completes the 16 MB memory test and recognizes a connected Sun Type 4 keyboard.
The internal SCSI hard drive was detected through the OpenBoot PROM, and the workstation was successfully booted from the hard drive into the installed SunOS operating system.
The system reaches the SunOS command-line environment and responds to keyboard input.
During startup, the system displays several age/configuration-related messages, including:
* “The IDPROM contents are invalid”
* Clock/date requires configuration
* Network/transceiver warnings
* Filesystem consistency warnings
* Some filesystems may require fsck/maintenance

The workstation has not been fully tested for every port, expansion card, floppy drive function, both hard drives, networking, or extended long-term operation. Due to the age of the system, no guarantee is made regarding the remaining life of the hard drives or other vintage electronic components.
The case and interior show normal cosmetic wear, marks, discoloration, dust, and signs of age/use. Please carefully review all photos for the exact cosmetic condition and internal configuration.

Vintage 1991 Sun Microsystems SPARCstation 2 Model 147. Tested and powers on. Video output works, 16 MB RAM is recognized and tested, SCSI storage is detected, and the system successfully boots into the installed SunOS operating system. Keyboard input was also tested. System displays IDPROM, filesystem, network, and clock/date warnings during startup as shown in photos. Not fully tested beyond the functions described. Cosmetic wear and discoloration consistent with age. Please see all photos for exact condition and configuration.
