VPN capability includes IPSec, OpenVPN, WireGuard, PPTP, L2TP, and GRE tunnels for secure site to site or remote worker connections, along with SPI firewall, DoS defense, URL/IP/MAC filtering, and time based access control. It integrates with TP-Link's Omada software defined networking ecosystem for centralized cloud management across access points, switches, and gateways at multiple sites, or it can run in standalone mode without a controller. The box includes the ER605 unit, power adapter, RJ45 ethernet cable, mounting bracket and screws, and the installation guide. This unit was opened and tested with a confirmed power on, and the box shows handling wear from storage, but all listed contents are present and accounted for.
