As the TRS-80Model 1, III, And 4 use the same drives as the coco, this drive can be used onthose systems as well. Keep in mind this drive is already configured for Drive0!
This drive will work onANY Tandy/radio-shack or 3rd party floppy drive controller in single sided 35Track mode. Radioshack DOS or RDOS is 35 trk single sided only.
However, if you want to use both sides of the floppy disk in OS9 or Nitros9 (dualsided in either 35 track or 40 track) you need a floppy controller that can usetwo sided disks like the FD-502 controller or its clones. I can tell you whereto get a modern recreation of this floppy controller if you message me.
You will needOS9 or Nitros9 to use dual sided disks. I have a boot disk for OS9 Level 2 forthe Coco3 to whomever purchases this drive if they request it. If you want the equivalent for acoco1 or coco2 with 64kb of RAM you need to use OS9 Level 1 version 2 and makeyour own disks for dual sided 40 track usage.
You need tohave your own classic floppy drive cable for this drive as one is NOT INCLUDED.If you dont have a floppy cable you can get one at Cloud9 (send me a message).
