The PDUMH30HVAT can be used in place of a PDUMH30HV, and it actually offers upgraded functionalityHowever, you must be aware of the key differences in your power infrastructure and design:

• Single vs. Dual Inputs: The PDUMH30HV has a single power cord to plug into a primary power source. The PDUMH30HVAT is an ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) model, meaning it has two input cords (Primary and Secondary) to connect to independent power sources for redundancy. You will need two available L6-30R receptacles to fully utilize the ATS PDU.
• Outlets: Both feature the same (16) C13 and (2) C19 outlets, but the ATS version adds an extra (1) L6-30R outlet on the unit.
• Cord Length: The PDUMH30HV has a 12 ft power cord, whereas the PDUMH30HVAT comes with two 10 ft power cords
