Features | 1U In-Line Surge Protector Keeps Your PoE Equipment Safe

Ideal for home/corporate IP security/building cameras, wireless access points, network switches and other appropriate network/PoE devices, the B110-SPPOEC-A5 protects connected Power over Ethernet (PoE) equipment from damage caused by electrostatic discharge (ESD) and power surges. Just connect it between your source, such as an Ethernet switch, and up to five PoE devices using Cat5e/6 cables. The 1U rack panel streamlines circuit protector placement for your entire system, typically located in the rear of a 19-inch rack for input/output lines.

Your Last Defense Against Intruding Voltage Spikes

Solid-state silicon-avalanche diode technology features low clamping voltage, providing superior protection against ESD and super-fast response time under one nanosecond. Both mid-span and end-span PoE are supported. The B110-SPPOEC-A5 meets the following IEC/EN regulations: IEC 61000-4-2 for ESD (8k/15kV), IEC 61000-4-4 for EFT (2kV, 5KHz/100KHz) and IEC 61000-4-5 for lightning (2KA 8/20µs, 6KV 8/20µs).

Ready to Use Right from the Package, So You Can Plug and Play Immediately

This PoE++ in-line surge protector meets 802.3af, 802.3at and 802.3bt Type 4 IEEE standards, while supporting data transmission speeds up to 1 Gbps. No software or external power supply is required. The compact metal housing is designed to endure in applications where static discharge is likely to occur. Mounting hardware is included for convenient rack installation in 1U of space.
