• Support Removal: UP Fila ABS and ABS+ are famous for their easy-to-peel breakaway support structures. If you are printing complex parts with overhangs, make sure your slicing software includes support settings tailored for ABS so you can take advantage of this clean separation.
• Bed Adhesion: While UP Fila PLA is very forgiving and can stick well to cold beds (using blue painter's tape, glue stick, or a PEI sheet), ABS requires heat. If your printer doesn't have an enclosure, keep drafts away from the printer to prevent the ABS from cooling too quickly and warping off the build plate.
• Post-Processing: If you are using UP Fila ABS, the matte-like luster responds exceptionally well to acetone vapor smoothing or standard sanding if you want a seamless, injection-molded look.
