This sale is for a motherboard port connector, intended to slot into a desktop computer case expansion slot and make 2 USB 2.0 ports, as well as two firewire (IEEE 1394) ports available to the machine, if the motherboard supports these connections at the distance the cable allows.The cables are roughly 10" (25cm) long, and, given some manipulation involved to attach to a motherboard, would support connectivity approximately 8" (20cm) from the expansion slot. Many modern motherboards are too large for this to work easily -- a mini or micro ATX may be needed. This is a non-returnable item -- be sure to measure!
