Up for sale is a complete copy ofClarisWorks 2.1 (T1536LL/A),the iconic vintage office productivity suite developed by Claris (a subsidiary of Apple). This software was originally released for classic Macintosh computers. ClarisWorks 2.1 was released in 1994.The ClarisWorks T1536LL/A package provides an all-in-one, seamlessly integrated workspace. The suite includes:
- Word Processing
- Spreadsheet and Charting
- Database Management
- Graphics and Illustration
- Communications Capabilities(such as modem dialing and terminal emulation)
All of the manuals and paperwork are included and in LIKE NEW condition:
- ClarisWorks Quick Reference (6 pages)
- Installation & New Features Guide (37 pages)
- Getting Started (137 pages)
- User's Guide (482 pages)
In addition to the guides and manuals, all of the original paperwork (warranty, license, registration card, etc.) are included.
The software is on 3 floppy disks. I do not have a working computer old enough to do a test install. However, I was able to mount all three disks on the desktop of an old iMac running Mac OS 9. However, due to the flakiness of floppy disks, particularly old ones, there is NO GUARANTEE that they will work on your system.
