Verizon Fios G1100 Dual Band Quantum Gateway AC1750 Wireless Modem WiFi Router
Price: US $16.99

This is a Verizon Fios Quantum Gateway Wi-Fi Router (Model: FiOS-G1100), alongside its external wall power brick.

For years, this was the default workhorse hardware rented out or sold to standard residential fiber internet customers using Verizon Fios or Frontier service.

🔌 Port Layout Overview (Third Photo)

Looking at the back panel from top to bottom, the color-coded array gives you excellent local network versatility:

  • USB 2.0 Ports ($2 \times$ blue/black cluster at the top): Originally intended for network storage drives or network printing shares, though these functions are largely disabled on stock ISP firmware.

  • WAN Port ($1 \times$ Red Outline): This is the inbound internet feed port. You connect an Ethernet cable here directly from the Ethernet output of your external wall-mounted optical network terminal (ONT) box.

  • LAN Ports ($4 \times$ Yellow Interface): These are local Gigabit Ethernet ports ($10/100/1000$ Mbps) used to hook up hardwired devices like your PC, smart TV, or a game console.

  • Coaxial F-Connector Terminal (Silver Threaded Stub): This is an integrated MoCA 2.0 (Multimedia over Coax) interface. In a standard Fios ecosystem, this cable line bridges your TV set-top guide data directly to the internet through the house's TV coaxial wiring, or passes inbound internet data if your ONT configuration uses a coaxial connection instead of an Ethernet run.

  • Power Input (Bottom Green Ring): Accepts the barrel plug tip of the accompanying black power supply brick.

💡 Connecting to Wi-Fi

If you're bringing this unit out of storage or resetting it, the white factory sticker on the rear panel (visible in your second photo) provides your default network name (SSID) and password. There is also a quick-scan QR code right next to it so you can scan it with a smartphone camera to connect to the network automatically without typing the security key manually.
