Vertiv GXT5-EBC36VRT2U 36V External Battery Cabinet 2U Rack/Tower

The Vertiv Liebert GXT5-EBC36VRT2U is a 36V external battery cabinet designed to extend the runtime of compatible Vertiv Liebert GXT5 UPS systems. It provides additional battery capacity to help keep connected IT and electronic equipment operating longer during power interruptions.

The cabinet uses valve-regulated, non-spillable lead-acid batteries and connects directly to the compatible UPS. It is designed for use with GXT5 500VA, 750VA, and 1000VA models, including the GXT5-500LVRT2UXL/UXLN, GXT5-750LVRT2UXL/UXLN, and GXT5-1000LVRT2UXL/UXLN.

With its 2U rack/tower design, the GXT5-EBC36VRT2U is suitable for server rooms, network installations, telecommunications systems, security equipment, offices, and other professional IT environments. The included EBC connection cable provides a direct connection to the compatible UPS.

This unit is an external battery accessory, not a standalone UPS. It does not provide AC output or power conditioning; instead, it adds stored battery capacity to the compatible GXT5 UPS for extended runtime.
