This 1MB 32-Bit plug-in module adds 1 MB of memory to either the 1- or 4- Megabyte 32-Bit System Memory Board. The thirty-six 256-kilobit memory chips on this module are soldered on to the board.
Designed for the Compaq Deskpro 386/20 and 386/25 personal computers which come standard with 1 megabyte of soldered-in RAM on the 1-Megabyte 32-bit System Memory Board. In addition, the system memory board has three sets of connectors that will each accept one 32-bit plug-in memory module expansion board. They are added in a specific sequence. Installation guide is included!

I only opened one Compaq box to photograph the contents and manual, the static bag is still sealed from the factory. All others are completely sealed, even the original OEM Compaq boxes that they came in.
