QX10 Computer. Model Q107A. Plugged it in and it works. Has original keyboard also. Has been in the original box for 40 years. See all pics added for all the manuals included. Even has a CoMunicator Modem still unopened.
The only thing not working is the disk drive. Cannot put a disk in. I spent 4 hours with an AI figuring out the problem. It seems to boil down to the sensor that "sees' the disk is stuck because of old grease turning to glue and the disk slides under it instead of hitting it and triggering the full insert of the disk to the "click". All the mechanisms work. The button to fully lock the disk/eject works.
I actully took it apart and took the A drive out (B is the same but I didn't take it out to work on it.) so that I could see what was going on.I have applied isopropyl alcohol to the slide and to the stuck sensor with no change. I gave up when I couldn't get it to work but other than that, it's in GREAT shape. Someone who wants to spend a little time working on this might take it apart a little further. I know I'm asking a high price for this machine but it's better than "just for parts". This will still work when the drives get unstuck.
