Up for sale is a completely restored Apple Macintosh LC II. I have personally added and done a lot of work to this specific computer. Below you can read the bulleted modifications and work performed:
- The logic/mother board has been completely cleaned and all electrolytic capacitors replaced with ceramic tantalum capacitors.
- 8MB of RAM has been installed. Totaling to max 10MB.
- The 1/2 AA battery was replaced with a new custom 2032 cell enclosure.
- Old ASTEC PSU completely cleaned and recapped with new capacitors.
- Floppy disk drive cleaned, lubricated and fully tested to read, format, write, and eject with a new 3D printed eject gear installed.
- A BlueSCSI installed with 4GB of storage space with System 7.1 installed among other applications and a second image drive acting as storage. Mounted onto an 3D printed bracket!
- Computer case (exterior & interior) cleaned.
There are no chips or cracks in the bezels. The computers plastic does sport some scuffs and scratches. The case has been yellowed in areas over its vintage age. The listing is for the LC III computer ONLY. Please message me with any questions!
