Up for your consideration is a vintage Compaq Presario 5184 desktop computer system with matching Compaq Presario MV500 CRT color monitor with integrated JBL speakers.
The MV500 monitor was manufactured in January 1999, making this a great late-1990s Windows-era computer setup for collectors, retro computing enthusiasts, gaming setups, or period displays.
The computer powers on and produces a display as shown. The startup screen displays the Compaq logo and performs a 60 MB memory check. No extensive testing of the computer, drives, ports, operating system, or other functions has been performed.
The tower retains its original Compaq specification sticker. Monitor is Compaq Presario MV500, Model C01011U. Both pieces show normal cosmetic wear and discoloration consistent with age.

Due to the age of the equipment, it is being sold as-is.
It was acquired from a local estate we recently liquidated.There is no original packagingand being an estate find weareunfamiliar with its prior history regarding storage and use.
