I've decided to sell my PowerBook 2400c. It has been a great computer for me, and I've done quite a bit of restorative work during my ownership. To start, I've replaced the laptop’s degraded rubber bumpers and feet with new ones. Then, I rebuilt the trackpad button assembly. These are known to have problems and not register "clicks". I've also removed the PRAM battery, which is a known point of failure on these laptops if left unchecked.

An observant buyer will also notice that in the first listing photo, the laptop is running without any AC power connection - this image is real! While I can't guarantee battery life, it does appear to charge and discharge just fine.

A clean install of Mac OS 8.1 is loaded on the 4GB internal drive. The original spinning drive started clicking a while back, so I replaced it with a modern 4GB compact flash card. Now, power consumption is lower and the laptop runs silent!

I’m also including a rare 2400c floppy disk drive and cable. It’s working well and has been tested to read, write, and eject disks without issue.
