The Mac powers on and successfully boots to the Finder desktop from the included 800K System disk. The Control Panel is shown in the main photo. The CRT is bright and clear, the floppy drive reads and boots properly, and the included Apple ADB mouse works.
The internal 20 MB hard drive no longer mounts, which is common on machines of this age, so the computer is being sold as a working vintage Macintosh that boots from floppy, with the internal hard drive considered non-working.
Factory configuration:
- 1 MB RAM
- 800K floppy drive
- 20 MB internal SCSI hard drive
- Macintosh SE model M5011
- Apple Desktop Bus mouse, family G5431
- System 6 boot floppy included
The included boot floppy is a single-disk, stripped-down System 6 startup disk that boots the machine successfully to Finder.
Cosmetically, it presents well for its age. Please see photos for condition.
A great original compact Macintosh for a collector, display, restoration, or vintage computing setup.
