Wingz was a high-end graphical spreadsheet program by Informix Software for the Apple Macintosh, originally released in early 1989. It was marketed as "The Ultimate Presentation Spreadsheet" due to its advanced ability to integrate high-quality 3D graphics and text directly on the same page as numerical data.

KEY FEATURES

Graphics & Visualization: It offered 20 basic types of 2D and 3D charts, including wireframe and contour maps, which could be placed directly next to data.

HyperScript: A powerful built-in scripting language (similar to Apple's HyperCard) that allowed users to automate tasks and build custom, interactive applications.

Scale: At a time when Microsoft Excel was limited, Wingz supported massive spreadsheets of up to 32,768 rows by 32,768 columns.

Cross-Platform: While originally built for Mac, it was later ported to Windows, OS/2, and several Unix variants.
