Selling a vintage IBM Thinkpad 701C "Butterfly" laptop from collection. Please look at all photos carefully before buying. If any other questions or specific picture request I can provide them.
Condition: Laptop case has the typical "sticky paint" issue where the old rubber coating is melting. Needs a deep clean or stripping. I attempted to clean the top,back, and a little under the laptop screen
Shell: Normal dust and storage wear. No major cracks found on the outer housing. Missing some small screws
Testing: It powers on. Screen is working and clear
Errors: Screen shows standard vintage errors: 161(bad CMOS battery), 163(time/date wrong), and a HDD hibernation error.
Included: Laptop and original dead battery only
Not Included: Power cable
