This CPU has been cleaned, tested, and sealed into an airtight, anti-static pouch. The pins are protected by an anti-static foam square. I've been putting systems together since the 90's and have come to appreciate known good vintage parts like this one.
It is one of many items from a computer store that closed in 2003 and has been carefully stored since then.
