**Item Overview:**Up for sale is a rare piece of early computing history: a vintage **Mouse Systems PageBrush/256** handheld hardware scanner. This was a groundbreaking 256-grayscale scanner from the late 1980s / early 1990s.
The scanner unit itself is in **excellent cosmetic condition** with very minimal surface wear, clean plastics, and no severe discoloration. It has been well-kept, making it a fantastic display piece or project for a retro PC restoration enthusiast.
**System Compatibility:**This scanner was originally manufactured for vintage **IBM PC and IBM-compatible** computer architectures.
