Vintage Packard Bell Legend 204CD desktop computer, sold as-is for restoration, repair, or parts.

The computer powers on and displays video. It successfully enters the Phoenix BIOS. The BIOS shows the following specifications:

* Intel 486DX2 66 MHz processor

* 4 MB total RAM

* 545 MB hard drive detected

* 3.5-inch 1.44 MB floppy drive

* CD-ROM drive

The CD-ROM tray opens and closes properly. Disc-reading capability and the floppy drive were not tested.

The hard drive is recognized by the BIOS, but the computer displays “Operating system not found.” No operating system loads. The BIOS also reports that the system battery is dead and needs replacement. Additional repairs, setup, cleaning, or service may be required.

The case is in rough cosmetic condition from age. The plastic has noticeable yellowing, wear, marks, dirt, and discoloration. Some original case screws/fasteners that secure the cover are missing. All accessible drive doors and trays open and close. Please carefully review all photos for the exact cosmetic condition.

Only the functions specifically described above were tested. No additional ports, drives, sound, or other internal components were fully tested.
