The Faster Group P3 & P4... still very compatible with DOS and WindowsIntel Pentium III 750 - 1000mhz and up128-256 MB RAM and upVideo ram 16mb-32mbNewer window 98 games are well supported and the extra speed benefits later Windows 98 games. Some Older Dos games start to have problems with too much CPU speed. DOS sound is software instead of compatible Hardware......NOT IN ALL CASES .. its best to start in the closest time period of your favorite period............usually its about the right drivers which were very well supported by the bigger tech giants as IBM, Toshiba, HP, Dell etc.............
I also make available a complete mirror image of the updated hard drive that can be used as a restore drive and nothing can be lost in the event of anything going wrong at a small additional cost on a seperate HD
A NOTE ON OLDER OPERATING SYSTEMSWin 95 & 98 and retro gaming requires some knowledge of the older DOS based operating systems, just ask the question in Google and you will find many video. or text info...........its worth it to be able to experience the countless classics waiting to be discovered or rediscovered. Just type game of the year for start of all the game categories and you will see why its worth it.......
