Yamaha YST‑M15 Powered Multimedia Speakers w/Power Adapter for sale, tested & confirmed working.I can't find an exact date on these, but they appear to be vintage from the early 2000s or thereabouts.They have very good bass for small, probably vintage computer speakers and the volume can get shockingly loud. No distortion, crackling, etc. There is a low level of 60hz hum audible when the speakers are turned on. The hum is constant and does not increase with the volume. It's quiet and is easily drowned out by the music. Volume and tone knobs work as intended.
Cosmetic condition is good for the likely age of the speakers. Discoloration is fairly minimal considering that these are made from the same beige material as many old computers, which tend to yellow over the decades. The yellowing effect can be clearly seen on the knobs.
