How to setting Up and Changing RAID

NOTE: Please back up your data from the hard drives before proceeding.

Step 1: Before assembling RAID, ensure that the RAID switch on the back of the product is set to the PM/Normal mode. If the product is not in this mode, restore it to the PM mode. (If the product is already in PM mode, skip this step.)

  1. Power off the product and switch the RAID control switch on the back to the "PM mode" position.
  2. Hold down the "SET" button while powering on the product. Wait for 10 seconds until the LED lights up and a beep sound is emitted. Finally, release the "SET" button to complete the PM mode configuration.

Step 2: With the product in PM mode, power off the device and switch the RAID control switch to the desired RAID mode.

Step 4: Format the disk array. Please access the "Disk Management" menu on Windows computers or the "Disk Utility" menu on Mac computers to format the disk array. Once the formatting is complete, the DR2RC3 das is ready for use.
