USB Internal Infrared (IR) Receiver with Cable and Custom Mounting Bracket

This custom IR board is connected to a USB header on themotherboard with the cable provided and is ready to go. The board size is sosmall (1 1/8”W x 1 5/8”L x 3/8” H) that it can be mounted almost anywhere withdouble stick tape inside your computer case. The mounting bracket provided canbe mounted with double stick tape or you can use 4-40 screws into the threadedholes in the bracket. The bracket comes with the hardware needed to mount theIR receiver to the bracket. Screws are not included to attach the bracket toyour case since there are many possible mounting variations.

The sensor on the front of the board must be inthe line of sight for the remote to operate. However, only a small hole ofabout 1/8” is necessary for the receiver to see the remote. As long as theblack sensor on the receiver is in that hole you will be able to use the remoteup to 30 feet from the receiver.

You must install the internal MB Header USBconnector of the receiver with the red wire facing the back of the case or theback of the header on the MB. The back of the header is the end opposite theend with the missing pin.
