The USMC Bayonet fromOntario Knife Company is the bayonet that is issued to the United States MarineCorps. The bayonet features a 1095 carbon steel blade with a non-reflectiveblack zinc-phosphate finish. The unique Dynaflex handle provides a superiorgrip in all conditions and is designed to reduce hand fatigue. Included withthe USMC Bayonet is a scabbard with a ceramic coated sharpening rod located onthe back.

Previouslyissued in excellent condition. The blades on these are sharp with no nicks orany evidence of having been abused or used inappropriately. Will show normal wear on the scabbard andhandle but overall are in excellent condition. These may or may not have been used in combatas they are military surplus.
Designedto Marine Corps Military specifications for attachment to current issue rifles,this bayonet features a black coated clip-point blade of a proprietary carbonsteel formula, with a small 1-3/4\" serrated section at the base of theblade and a sharpened upper swedge. The grooved handle is very grippy and resilient,for use with or without gloves. The hard sheath with strapdown loops has drainholes for amphibious use, an embedded ceramic-coated aluminum sharpener on theback, and a sturdy ballistic nylon harness for attachment to load bearingequipment in multiple ways.
Handleis marked with USMC on one side (and on blade base) and “Eagle Globe andAnchor” logo on reverse. Brown color is designed to match both woodland anddesert camouflage schemes as well as to reduce IR signature.
