item - 8pc lot of NOS (new, old stock) 1mb "20pin" DRAM ZIP chips, 70ns Mitsubishi 5v FPM (Fast Page Mode) with cut "key pin" near middle of chip (pic 4) for sockets with corresponding location blocked to ease proper orientation (this pin has no internal connection) - thus chips are compatible with both 19 & 20 pin sockets. Each chip is 1mb x 1 bit (1 megabit) thus 8 chips equal 1 megabyte (non-parity). Most legacy personal computers (Apple II, Amiga, Atari, etc) use FPM DRAM (Fast Page Mode Dynamic RAM) but some use "static column" FPM DRAM (unrelated to Static RAM of earlier computers). Legacy system RAM is typically DIP chips, and legacy VRAM (Video RAM) is typically ZIP chips, but chip "packages" vary by make/model. NOTE: these ZIP chips are "standard" FPM, not "static column" FPM aka SC and NOT for A3000 mobo which uses "similar" 20 pin ZIP chips but only 256x4 or 1Mb x 4.cond - xlnt functional & cosmetic cond - NOS in original tubes
