Locking hub make to engage/disengage the front wheels from the front axle shafts. The locking hub actuator transfers or blocks the output from drive shaft to the front wheel end according to the vacuum pressure. When the 4WD system is not engaged,the lock hub actuator will disconnect the axle and hub,then reducing driveline loss coused by spinning axle is not rotating.
