This magnetic mount antenna base manufactured by Alfa Network Inc. has an RP-SMA port and a three-foot antenna extension cable built into the base (1m). This is model ARS-AS01. This is a great way to get more signal on your Alfa Network wireless receiver, such as Alfa models AWUS036H or AWUS036NH. Simply connect this magnetic base to your Alfa adapter's RP-SMA port with the built-in cable and then connect the Alfa antenna you already own to the top of the magnetic mount base. Now you can place your antenna up to three feet away from the adapter for improved reception.

Put the antenna on a window sill near your desk, or place it on the top of your car for increased Wi-Fi reception when traveling (never use Wi-Fi and drive at the same time of course!). This base will work with any WiFi device that has an RP-SMA port, it does not have to be Alfa brand only. The diameter of the base is 2.5 inches.

In light city driving we found this base to stay attached to the outside of the car without an antenna attached. We reached speeds of 40-50 mph. We did not test with an antenna attached, and recommend you always detach your antenna from the base when your vehicle is mobile as something such as a tree limb could knock it off and make it a potential road hazard. We do not recommend leaving the docking base attached at speeds above 40 mph though we have not done any further speed testing. Our company makes no claims about travel speeds and we would suggest the magnetic base only be used when the vehicle is stationary just to be on the safe side.

ShippingOptions

Orders will generally be shipped the same or next day after payment is received. Periodically if we are experiencing unusually high order volume, your order may not be shipped until the second business day after payment is received, but this is not usual. We offer both UPS and US Postal methods of shipping as described below.

US 50 States + Puerto Rico: $0.00 US Postal Parcel Post/First Class. This includes delivery confirmation and insurance. It can take from 3-7 days to arrive, and sometimes longer.

US 50 States + Puerto Rico: $4.00 US Postal Priority Mail. This includes delivery confirmation and insurance. According to the US Postal Service, Priority Mail takes an average of 2-3 delivery days to arrive. This is not a guaranteed transit time though, it is just an average delivery time.

International Shipping Rates and Information: Shipping outside of the US is $10.95 ($7.95 to Canada). This is for Standard mail which takes about 2-4 weeks to arrive. Because of the low cost of this sale, we are not offering any more expensive faster methods of delivery outside of the USA. Many countries will charge the recipient import tax on items purchased on . We do not have knowledge of which countries charge tax and how much it could be. Customers are advised to contact their local postal or tax offices prior to offerding. Rokand is not responsible and will not reimburse international buyers for taxes charged on delivery. Rokand cannot mark items as gifts, lower the value of the goods on the customs form, or engage in any other modification to assist in the lowering or elimination of valid taxes.
Return Policy

The following is our return policy. We are not able to make exceptions to this policy. offerding or selecting "buy it now" on this or any of our sales constitutes full acceptance and agreement with all of our sale terms including our return policy.

This item is guaranteed to work for 30 days. We also want customers to be able to return products that they don't want, don't like, or did not mean to buy. Because we incur costs for each return ( fees, needing to resell open box items at a much lower price, etc.), we charge a minimal 10% restocking fee on all returned items (new and used), except for products that test defective upon receipt back here. Because many of our sales include free or discounted shipping options, this also helps cover our original postage expense.

We believe this is a fair policy as most sellers do not allow for any non-defective items to be returned, and the ones that do typically charge a 20% restocking fee. If the product you return is defective we can send a replacement at our expense or issue a refund of the item price, whichever you prefer. Please contact us for support if needed- if our support staff cannot get the item working for you, no restocking fee will be applied to your return. If you return a product without contacting and troubleshooting with us, a restocking fee will be applied if the product tests working upon receipt back here.

If you do wish to return a product, please contact us for return address instructions. Shipping and return shipping are not refundable unless we err, such as ship the wrong version of a product. There are no other warranties on this sale, expressed or implied. The exception to this is if the description states there is a manufacturer's warranty. In this event buyers should contact us for full warranty coverage details.

As noted in our shipping section, we do ship many items outside of the USA. However because we cannot pre-screen buyers, we reserve the right to cancel and refund any International purchase that is at such a high value to be deemed a risk for loss, and we reserve right to cancel and refund any international purchase we deem a risk for any other reason. In such an event, you would be notified via email within 48 hours of your purchase. Here are some important things to know about importing shipments from the USA:

1. Customs duty and tax: Many countries will charge the recipient import tax on items purchased on . We do not have knowledge of which countries charge tax and how much it could be. Customers are advised to contact their local postal or tax offices prior to offerding. Rokand is not responsible and will not reimburse international buyers for taxes charged on delivery. It is against rules for Rokland to collect any duty up front with your payment.
2. Insurance and proof of shipment: Items sent outside the USA are insured. USPostal Regulations state insurance covers only the cost of the product, and does not cover the shipping charge. Therefore if your shipment is lost, your postage/shipping is not refundable. When you inquire for shipping rate quotes, we will advise you of the average time frame for delivery. If your product has not arrived within 45 mailing days of shipping (30 days for Express shipments), please contact us so we canl file an insurance claim on your behalf. The USPostal Service requires that all insurance claim filings include a signed letter from you, the recipient, stating you have not received the parcel shipped to your address. This is a requirement and the letter can be faxed to us, scanned and emailed, or sent through Postal mail. We cannot issue any refunds for lost packages or ship any replacements without this letter. If you select a replacement, we will pay to ship it to you. If you select a refund, you will be refunded only the price of the product, as noted above USPostal Regulations do not allow us to insure the cost of the postage.
3. Returns: Buyers outside the USA may return products in accordance with our above advertised return policy. It is important to note that shipping and return shipping are NEVERrefundable, with the sole exception of a case where we ship the wrong product (example: you buy a wireless adapter and we send a keyboard by mistake).
