Up for sell is an Amiga 2000 vintage computer. This is for theAmiga 2000computer, power cord and 3 non-original copies of software only. Nothing else comes with this listing. This was tested and it works fine except for the hard drive. The floppy drives were tested with the game "Dark Castle" (not included) showing it will boot to a game. This also showed that the joystick and mouse ports work along with the sound. With the included non-original disk, it will boot to Workbench 3.1 (40.42). The hard drive doesn't work.The battery has been removed and the area cleaned first with white vinegar and then with 99% isopropyl alcohol.This doesn't affect the computer other than not saving the time and date. This computer has the following:
1.ROM 3.12.Kickstart 40.63 Workbench 3.1 (40.42) with nearly5 MBs total memory.3. Hard Drive Controllerwith one hard drive Quantum ProdriveLPS attached to it. I don't know the size of the drive. The system is set-up not to boot from the hard drive. When set-up to boot from the hard drive it spins up and tries to load but can't. The hard disk light comes on when in boot mode.4. Supra Corp8MB RAM Board populated with 2MBs. I don't know where the other almost 3 MBs come from. Probably the hard drive controller board. That means it's working.5. Greatvalley Products Inc. PhonePak Rev 5 board. Untested.No software.6.Two 3 1/2" floppy drives.Both work fine and both can boot.7. Software: 3 non-original disks titled Workbench 3.1, Extras 3.1,Hard Disk Software8. The mother board is Haynie/Fisher Rev 4.3
Note: There is no Supra Drive in this computer like the outside emblem states.
This computer is being sold as is for parts not working with no returnsdue to the fact that dishonest people will replace chips or boards with bad ones.And because I wasn't able to test parts of this computer due to software or hardware problems.This is for the computer, power cord and non-original software only. No Monitor or anything else.
