Now,40 years later, we can see just how this computer revolutionized theindustry. This original Macintosh is a very rare piece of history.This computer is the original Macintosh, as it was made beforeNovember 1984.The original M0001 did not have that long a run as Itwould only be till September before they introduced both separatelybadged 128k and 512k models. Units made after November 1984 had"Macintosh 128k" replacing the original “Macintosh”. Ithas been 40 years since this revolutionary computer was introducedand makes a perfect collectible piece of history for the avid Applecomputer collector!!!Introducedto the public via the famous "1984" advert created byRidley Scott, the Macintosh promised to start a revolution onpersonal computing...AND IT DID! This computer is the original model.As it was the first Macintosh there is no model name or number on theback, it was only called “Macintosh".
Thisunit has been treated back to the ORIGINALCOLOR.Totally restored: cleaned inside and out, floppy disk drive has beencleaned, lubricated and tested for guaranteed operation.
MostMacintosh computers of this time have faulty keyboards, mice, anddrives. Not this one!!!It comes with MacintoshkeyboardM0110 and Macintosh Mouse (M0100) and power cable of similar color asthe original one. All parts color restored, repaired if needed andtested working.
Alsoincluded with the computer arehard coverautobiographiesof Steve Jobs and John Scully plus a recent print of “1984”written by George Orwel in 1949.
