Product OverviewThis is the Dell iR Receiver / Dongle for the Dell Wireless keyboard (M756C) and Mouse (M787C). Dongle is a very proprietary device from Dell and only works with the above select keyboard and mouse. NOTE: This is NOT a Bluetooth Receiver. The first step is plugging in the receiver (M797C) into an available USB port on the computer. Wait a minute or two until the operating system has installed the necessary drivers. The next step is to press the sync button on the underside of the keyboard. The sync button will immediately begin to blink. While it’s blinking, press the small button on the underside of the receiver that is connected to the USB port. Give it a minute or two. If the power button goes solid on the mouse, then it has successfully synced with the receiver. Repeat same process for the mouse. As always, check compatibility with your device before offerding.
