With 20 years in the business of fine binding & restoration (The Gilded Leaf in Maryville, TN), we\'ve applied those traditional skills to the modern iPad. These finely handcrafted covers are made using the same tools and materials as we use on classic books; handmarbled papers, morocco leather, and 23k gold. Though there are several mass produced \"antique\" covers on the market, ours are utterly unlike the rest, bound like a truly fine heirloom book. STYLES & COLORS: The colors and patterns we offer here have an Art Deco/Modern flavor playing off the unique marbled patterns, though we are able to custom create covers suited to any century or style (peruse our website or send us photos that you like). (Inquire for details.)WORTH NOTING: While I\'ve carried my own daily in a satchel full of odds-n-ends (books, cables, Altoids, etc.), they\'re far better suited for the study than the street. The marbled paper will scuff, the edges will ding, and your case should be treated with the same care you\'d give a finely bound book.One more caveat: we considered adding a hole for the back camera but couldn\'t bring ourselves to do it. If you\'d like to use your iPad in that fashion, you\'ll need to just slip it out of the case. (We have added a hole for the front camera, though not yet pictured.)DELIVERY TIMES: As these are custom made to order, please allow 10 days for us to get your project up on the bench and out for delivery.
