Grab your wrench and a pair of your favorite overalls and get ready to monkey around with some cars in Fisher-Price Big Action: Garage. Tommy Treads has discovered that his friend K.C. Coupe is broken down and needs repairs before Tow Truck comes to take him away. It\'s up to you to help Tommy find the parts he needs to repair K.C. before he\'s sent to the big scrap heap in the sky.Once you sign in, you\'re whisked off to Auto Land, which contains six places where parts can be found and a seventh place which is just for fun. You can click the flag button to check out Tommy\'s dashboard, where you can adjust the volume, see which parts you\'ve earned so far, look at the scrapbook, or quit the game. The scrapbook contains printable pictures of all the characters in the game.In the first area of Auto Land, Jimi Fenderfix offers Tommy a deal: help him detail a car in his body shop in exchange for a much-needed tire. In this game, you get to use your imagination and help Tommy put a colorful array of stickers and patterns all over the car. You can print the picture when you\'re done. Next, the hot rod known as Bernie Rubber has a proposition: beat him in a race and he\'ll give you a spark plug. Use your mouse to steer the car as you whiz across pavement, desert and arctic tracks. Grab gas cans for power-ups and use the ramps to jump over Bernie.Once you\'ve grabbed the checkered flag, Cliff Convertible and Fred Flatbed will give you some oil if you\'ll work on an engine with them. Once you\'ve checked the oil, changed the spark plugs and replaced the battery, you\'ll have what you need and can go on to the next task. In the Spooky Garage, you meet a car named Bugaboo who has a fan blade for you if you\'ll rid his garage of the scary Car-boo-raiders. Squirt oil at the ghosts, who in turn spit nuts and bolts at you. If you get hit six times, your game is over, but if you can splat all twelve ghosts, you\'re the winner.Next, Diesel has a deal for you: take a goblet of gasoline to Olivia Octane, the sultry crooner who\'s on stage that night at his nightclub. Make your way through the maze before you run out of gas and Olivia will give you what\'s left in the goblet to take back to poor old K.C.. Finally, help Ralph Recycling Truck clean up the river at the Auto Park and he\'ll let you use his magnet to pull a battery out of the water. After you\'re done, you can wash off the muck at the Comet Car Wash, where Tommy meets Maxx Overdrive and sings a fun song to celebrate the completion of his tasks.From there it\'s back to the Big Action Garage, where Tommy arrives just in time to help K.C. fix himself and send away the grumpy Tow Truck.For Windows (32-bit Systems) / Mac (Power Macintosh: OS 9 or Below) [*Please review compatibility/platform sections]

COMPATIBILITY:

Computers are like people, each one is different. Unlike console games, a computer game may install and work flawlessly on one system but may need adjustments on another. This is due to a variety of factors, mainly the OS platform running, video card you have, drivers, protection software installed, etc. Many times manufacturers release updates to games to fix bugs and add enhancements. We would be happy to help get the game going on your computer, but ultimately compatibility issues are the responsibility of the buyer. We suggest going to Google and searching for the name of the game along with the words \"system requirements\" to determine if your system is suitable. Ultimately, we are not responsible for software compatibility problems or publisher\'s errors.

PLATFORM:

Stated within the sale is what platform the game will work on (ie. Windows, Mac, Linux...) This is a generic statement and specific platform versions (ie. XP, Vista...) will have to be researched by the buyer. Games that came out PRIOR to XP or higher will not specifically state they will work on that release, but only because they came out before those versions were made. Many, if not most, will work on XP or higher with a few quick adjustments. We provide instructions with all items purchased on how to do this adjustment using the Program Compatibility Wizard. If we find out that an item will definately not work on a specific version, we will state it. For DOS games, you may need to play it with a free DOSbox program if the Program Compatibility Wizard does not work.

64-Bit Windows OS Systems:
For 64-bit Operating Systems, older games most likely will NOT work due to 64-bit systems not being able to run 16-bit programming code (most games prior to 2000). For DOS games, you may need to play it with a free DOSbox program.

Macintosh Systems:
For Macintosh programs, most older games will need to be run in Classic Environment if you have a MAC OS X 10.0 - 10.4 version. Please research Google on how to do this, or send us a message for information prior to purchasing. If your MAC OS system doesn\'t support Classic Environment (ie. MAC OS X 10.5 or Higher OR Intel Macs), you will have to try running it using the free program called SheepShaver, but compatibility is not ensured. Please research prior to purchasing or ask questions.

MEDIA FORMAT:

Please verify you have the required hardware in order to use the specified media (ie. CD, DVD, floppy drives, etc.) If the item comes as a floppy disc, make sure you have either the needed 3.5\" floppy drive or the bigger and older 5.25\" floppy drive.

SHIPPING:

We typically ship all items out within 2-4 business days after payment is received. In regards to the stated shipping and handling, remember that these costs include more than just postage. We combine shipping and handling, with each additional item after the first just $2 more. Message us for an invoice if doesn\'t automatically adjust it.

International buyers not shipping to an address within the U.S. can expect their orders to take anywhere from 5 days to 4 weeks to be received, depending on how fast/well USPS is moving. Additionally, international orders typically have to go through governmental customs, which can delay the arrival process. Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer\'s responsibility. Please check with your country\'s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to offerding or buying. Customs fees are normally charged by the shipping company or collected when you pick the item up. These fees are not additional shipping charges.
