The HP StorageWorks Modular Smart Array 50 (MSA50) Storage Enclosure is a disk drive enclosure that provides additional storage capacity for HP ProLiant and Integrity servers. It supports Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) or Serial ATA (SATA) drives and can be cascaded in a 1+1 configuration for a total of 20 SFF drives in a 2U configuration.
The documentation CD that comes with the MSA50 includes user guides for the HP Array Configuration Utility (ACU) and the Option ROM Configuration for Arrays (ORCA) utility.
