528bit sector, NOT 512.This will be detected on some PC RAID controllers, but due to the 528bit sector format, will show an error when formatting. These were pulled from and meant for IBM Power7 and Power8 units (AS400), and are not just something you can slap into a Windows / Linux machine and have it work right away. A Dell PowerEdge R340 with an H730p controller can see the disks, detect that they're 387GB, but due to the proprietary format, it doesn't want to read it properly.Rather than convert it to 512bit sectors, I'm just going to get rid of them and use the money towards some bigger NVMe disks for my ESXi cluster instead.
Of the 14 total disks, 13 are FRU 74y926, 1 is 00e8673. Drives were wiped by the AS400 admin. Comes with mounting trays for an FC5887 shelf.
