Purpose and description
Cube KP 128/17-M70 was developed in the mid-60s, in KB-2 electronic engineering under the leadership of Philip Georgievich Staros. The cube was used, in particular, as a random access memory of various marine digital computers. Represents a parallelepiped from the bottom of which have electric legs-outputs. The design is not collapsible, the internal contents are filled with a protective compound.
Internal structure and characteristics
The cube can store 128 17-bit numbers, in other words 272 bytes. Inside are multi-hole ferrite plates and a decoding system.
