Starting up directly from a USB 3.0 Flash Drive allows you to install the OS. The Flash Drive also gives options to reformat, repair the internal startup drive, other connected storage devices with built-in tools such as Terminal & Disk Utility. These tools are found in the menus of the Flash Drive Installer.

If you are not sure which OS will work for your computer, please message me with theserial numberof your computer and I\'ll be able to advise you. Go to the Apple () Menu at the top left of your screen and choose “About This Mac”. The Serial Number is in the window that appears.
The USB drive you\'ll receive will always be 3.0 and at least 16GB in size. Colors may vary.
This installer has a USB-A connector. If your computer has USB-C ports, you will need an adapter.
Please make sure your computer has an available & working USB port.
