It is designed to prevent falling and wandering. Setting up your alarm device is a breeze: Simply position the mattress pad under where your patient’s buttocks or shoulders will be. Plug the cable from the pad to the alarm device. Install the provided 9V battery into the device. Choose between two motion sensor chime volume levels and alarm sounds. Test the system by applying pressure to the pad, and you are all set! Our instructions manual will guide you through installing, testing, and operating your ring chime. Be sure to install the alarm device far enough to prevent patient tampering. Mount your device in three ways using the accessories provided: - Clip the device on bed rails or headboards using the U-bracket, - Wall-mount device using the wall bracket and screws, or - Secure the device on a flat surface using velcro strips with adhesive. You can also use this patient alarm system in assisted living facilities, hospitals, nursing homes, and more—and not just on beds! You can install the bed alarms on chairs, sofas, wheelchairs, and any surface your patient often lies or sits on.
