Rare Intel Overdrive 486 SX 20 (40Mhz) CPU Processor. S Spec SZ675 / ODP486SX-20.
The ODP486-20 was the first OverDrive CPU made by Intel. Their confusing naming system calling it the 486SX-20 (though it actually clocked doubled to 40Mhz and was intended for 20Mhz CPUs) did not help sales and the SX naming was dropped for DX then to DX2 along with the OverDrive speed.
Being an ODP CPU, this was designed for the Intel upgrade socket, there was no need to remove the old processor, just install this in the OverDrive socket and it would automatically disable the onboard CPU.This is a ceramic Gold CPUCPU will be packed in an anti-static, padded and boxed to ensure a safe delivery.
