Offered here is RARE Vintage CANADIAN Apple IIe computer. This is the Rare Platinum version of which I have never personally seen another. This is an elusivesystem even here in Canada. It includes a special ROM that enables the user to input DATA in both French and English. To my knowledge, it was only sold in Quebec. The computer is in decent used condition with very little yellowing. This computer powers on fine and displays the normal Apple II screen that it should. I was able to test the keyboard and it works fine. Shown are both French and English characters. This can me switched via a switch on the bottom of the Apple. I was able to type BASIC commands and the computer processed them correctly. There is some corrosion on the rear terminals but does not effect function and could easily be cleaned.No Further testing done.This is a very rare system and in workingcondition.
