Can I change the entire keyboard layout? β¨οΈπ Yes, with a complete key set you can not only replace your keys to remove the shine on them, but also change the layout (= language). Only standardizations such as ANSI and ISO (see table below) must be observed. These standardizations can be differentiated by the Enter key.
Enter ANSI (e.g. US Layout)
Change layout ISO β ISO Yes, that is possible. Order a complete set and replace your keys.
ANSI β ANSI Yes, that is possible. Order a complete set and replace your keys.
ISO β ANSI Yes, but ... since the Enter and "Shift left" keys do not fit in the other layout, it is recommended to leave them in the old layout. Other special keys such as Tab, Backspace, Shift right, and Caps Lock also look different. To maintain a consistent keyboard design, it is better to leave these keys in their original form. Since the "Shift left" key in the ANSI layout is larger than in the ISO layout, there is now one extra key. The key to the right of the "Shift left" key will be redundant.
