SD ExpandoRAM 32K/64K DYNAMIC MEMORYS100 pre IEEE696 STANDARDThe board is compatible with ALTAIR 8800 and IMSAI 8080.The board is a 32K version being populated by 16 x MM5190 16k x1 memory chipThis was a kit product asevidenced by some flux residue on the solder side visible without a magnifying glass.A rapid inspection of the card show that U28 (LS244), the data in bus driver is missing, the U20 (LS75), Quad 4 bit latch for A12, A13, A14 and A15 and resistor R9, in front of pin 10 has one side broken. There are missing capacitor on bank 3. The voltage regulator is also missing.Inspections of some of the jumpers shows that the board was set-up for IMSAI MPU B 8085 processor board E10-E11 on, E11-E12 cut, EW13-E14 on, E19-E20 on, E20-E21 cut,...,E25-E26 on, E26-GND cut, E28-E29 on, but R10 is not in and C71 is not in.

Testing / Operational Status:

The card was not tested in my working IMSAI 8080 chassis.
The board will be wrapped in aluminium foil, placed in an antistatic bag, placed in a commercial anti static padded box and shipped Canada Post/USPS in Canada and in USA. Rest of the world will be EMS/Fedex International Economy, ask for a quote.

This is not offered as perfect, as they are more than 35 years old

This board will make a lovely display piece and/or be installed in a S-100 vintage computer project after repair.

Early microcomputers were known to have faults and require skilled technical knowledge to repair or operate properly.

Static electricity protection in handling is a imperative requirement, chip reseating might be required after shipment to resume operating condition.
