There are some great products that use the ROM slot in the bottom of your Tandy Model 100 or 102 for all kinds of things, but sometimes you just want to plug in a ROM and get to work the way the machine was originally designed to roll. Maybe you just need TS-DOS installed all the time and don’t want the cost and complexity of another solution. Maybe you just want a ROM to carry around for the occasional times you need additional applications. Maybe you just want to work “old school!”

That’s where this chip comes in! It works just like the original ROMs did back in the '80s, but this one has 8 (eight!) different ROM images burned onto it, and you can pick which one your computer sees by flipping the little switches on it. It’s as simple as it can get, and you get the flexibility of carrying lots of software in a small package at a small price. The Tandy 200 version of all ROM software is different than the version for the Model 100/102, so this chip will not work on a Tandy 200. Each chip comes packed with easy-to-follow installation instructions (in English only), and some adhesive labels for you to cut out and stick to the inside of the ROM cover on your computer for easy reference in the future. *** PLEASE NOTE: There were a small number of UK-version machines made. You can easily identify them because they do not have a "Phone" port on the back.
