Years ago,I made several of these cables for those who wanted to add Parallel Printer (PIO) communication interface to their CC-40 RS232 unit. When digging through my CC40 stash, I found components and decided to make a few more of these ribbon cables. This cable was designed to allow you to hook your CC40 CC-40 with RS232 unit to give you a parallel port. This 36 inch flat cable has a male Centronics Parallel connector on one end and a 20-pinfemale connector on the other. It is a:

The cable for sale gives the RS232 unit the optional parallel port which can be used with many of the popular computer printers built for parallel interface. This 3-footcable needs to be installed into the RS232 which involves disassembling the CC40 RS232 device. Instruction sheet shown in pictures comes with the cable.

PLEASE NOTE: This cable was tested using an EPSON FX-86e parallel printer with CC40 hooked to RS232 and worked without error. I would assume it would work also for you,but it must be installed correctly using the directions which come with the cable. Sold As Is, No returns, No refunds.
