The Playground system is an easy way to connect from Crumble or BBC micro:bit to useful Gizmos.

The Traffic Gizmo provides an easy way to connect LEDs to the output of your Playground. Simply use one of the connection cables to connect from the Playground to each of the inputs the Gizmo. Use one connector for Red, a second for Amber, and a third for Green

Payment

We currently use three different third-party, hosted payment services – PayPal, Stripe and NoChex.

Your data is stored through the payment service\'s data storage, databases and the general application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Delivery

When ordering online we know that it can sometimes be difficult to find all the necessary and useful information about your order and the delivery times and methods. We have put this page together to help you understand our delivery process in a bit more detail.

Delivery in the UK

UK parcels are sent using First Class Royal Mail and should be with you within 1 to 3 working days, including Saturdays. Please note that these times are not guaranteed by us and are just estimates from Royal Mail. For more information you can visit the Royal Mail website at www.royalmail.com.

Delivery in Europe and Rest of World

International deliveries are typically sent via Royal Mail Airmail Small Packets and should be delivered between 3 and 7 working days to Europe and 5 to 7 working days to the Rest of the World. Please note these times are not guaranteed by us and are just estimates from Royal Mail. For more information you can visit the Royal Mail website at www.royalmail.com.

Please be aware that in certain circumstances overseas deliveries can take up to 4 weeks to arrive – this is very rare, but it does happen occasionally. We also cannot be held responsible for any delays resulting from postponements due to customs clearance, strikes or political/civil unrest.

Delivery duties

All orders sent outside of the UK and EU are shipped on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis and may be subject to local customs import duty which is charged on the value of the purchase. Payment of these fees is the sole responsibility of the customer. Payment of the duty charge is necessary for the release of your order from customs on arrival to your country.

We are reasonable people (and we hope you are too!) and we always want you to have a happy experience, so we will do our best to come to a mutually agreeable outcome in such situations.

Lost in transit

Therefore if you have not received your items after 4 weeks from receipt of the \"Order Complete\" email (or 2 weeks for UK orders) then please get in touch with us as soon as possible. Once we know you have not received your item we will investigate the matter fully both internally and with our carriers and will work with you to provide a mutually acceptable resolution.

Sometimes we will at our own discretion use a courier for higher priced items both for UK and international orders. We reserve the right to use whichever delivery service we like, without informing you of a change first. However if a signature will be required for your item due to it being delivered by a courier instead of by Royal Mail, we will endeavour to let you know.

We aim to despatch all packages within 1 working day of your order (excluding weekends) for in stock items. However, during busy periods this time-frame may be longer. If you have any questions about your order then don’t hesitate to contact us.

Returns

We do our very best to ensure that our items are accurately described and delivered in a good condition. As such, we really hope that you will be pleased with your purchases from Pi Supply. However we understand that there may be occasions when you will need to return items to us.

If you change your mind

If you have simply changed your mind about any item ordered and you wish to return it then in line with the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) and the Consumer Contracts Regulations (CCR) you can do so provided you inform us of your decision within 14 working days of receipt of the order. The items must not be used and must be \'as new\' when returned to us with all original packaging in-tact such that it is in a saleable condition. Once you\'ve informed us that you wish to return goods under the DSR/CCR you have 28 calendar days to do so, at your own expense.

Items damaged in transit

If any items were damaged in transit we ask that you report it to us within 7 working days. If the items are visibly damaged on receipt it\'s best to sign the carrier\'s delivery note accordingly if possible. Damaged items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once received back into our warehouse we\'ll issue a replacement or full refund via your original payment method. If return shipment is necessary we will of course cover this cost.

Items faulty on arrival

If your items are faulty on arrival, you have 30 calendar days in which to inform us of the fault. Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once we have verified the fault, we\'ll issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method.

Incorrect or missing items

Whilst we do our very best to make sure your order is correctly fulfilled in our warehouse our staff are only human and so on the odd occasion mistakes do happen. If you receive the incorrect items or are missing an item from your order please inform us within 7 working days of receipt so we can work with you to rectify the situation. For missing items we will ship the missing products out to you immediately, and in the case of incorrect items we will typically ask you to ship the items back to us (at our expense) and send the correct items out to you by return.

Unexpected delivery

If you received an order from us which you were not expecting, we would be obviously very grateful if you could return it to us so we can re-route it to its rightful home! The best way to do this is to take it to your local post office and send it to the returns address listed below.

ABOUT PI SUPPLY

The business was founded in 2008 as a hobby car audio business under the name Raamaudio UK Ltd. In 2012, founder Aaron Shaw got his first Raspberry Pi and the company changed direction. Pi Supply is a creator of innovative accessories for the Raspberry Pi mini-computer and a retailer of other maker products from around the globe.

Our aim is to provide high-quality electronic products to the global Raspberry Pi and Maker communities, through a fast distribution service that is expanding daily.

We\'ve grown from a one-man band operation working in a dusty warehouse in Kent with two silly dogs to a growing team based all over the UK and EU.

HOW Pi SUPPLY STARTED

Our Founder hated having to reach under his bed to turn his Raspberry Pi on and off. So he decided to do something about it. Introducing….the Pi Supply Switch! The very first creation that started this company!
