The computer powers up when plugged and the red power light shinesbright, we are not set up to fully test the unit beyondthe basic power-up. This little machine looks great for a 40 year old piece of hardware!
Cosmeticallythe computer is very clean and looks hardly used, the keyboardand keys show very little wear - please see all the close-up images.
The original VIC-20 branded box is in good shape showing areas of wear, creasing and corner softeningwith some staining and paint loss on the back.
The styrofoam packing insertsare in good shape and show only minimalcrumblingwhen handled, both the insertsand the interior of the cardboardbox have a few charming kidsdrawings in marker and pen - please see all the detail photos.
