This is a very rare vintage removable hard disk pack, from the early 1960s. To the best of my knowledge this is a 10 or 20 MByte drive pack. Yes megabytes. This was likely only the second generation of hard drives. It was made by Century Media Inc. of Anaheim, California. I find no references to this company any more. Only a record label company by a similar name. The computer operator would insert this drive pack into a drive system about the size of a washing machine. Images of the drive pack are my own and the image of the IBM device is a stock picture from the Internet of a similar unit of the same era. There are 11 double sided platters that make up this single 14\" diameter drive pack. It is difficult to locate even example images of this era of hard drives, much less find one these of very rare drives packs.
This is a collectors or museum grade product of the early computing era.
