For your consideration,An old but sturdy Wenger backpack. This backpack has been my daily workhorse for a number of years and this year I decided it was time to replace it. It has typically only carried a few pounds a day so very little strain has been put on the shoulder straps. I'm a big fan of Wenger backpacks and Im sure that someone will make good use of this one.
All the zippers work perfectly. One of the zipper toggles came off and was replaced (see pic). I also taped up the top load bearing top handle. This is because the plastic that surrounds the cable cracked. This seems to be a known fault with these backpacks as I have needed to do this on multiple bags as have others. I removed the wenger patch on the front as I put my own patch on in its place.This has no impact other than visually.
The main reason for my replacing it is that the stitching is coming away along the sides of the shoulder straps and I do not have the means to fix it. If you are handy with a sewing machine, this is probably about a five minute job.
This has been carefully looked after in a smoke free home. Be aware that there may be dog/cat hair on the bag as we have both.
This item is sold as is and I have, in good faith, attempted to point out all its flaws. Please consider when purchasing that this is a well used product and I have done my best to identify all of its imperfections honestly and to the best of my abilities.
Is this a perfect new bag? No. Does it do everything it needs to do? Yes. Will it likely last for a number of more years? If you take care of it, probably.
