Basically it's where you have a certain email address setup for your site and whatever sent to it gets sent to a program to be processed further. Like
[email protected] causes a trouble ticket to be opened that will be dealt with or you could email camera phone pictures that would be posted on your site automatically. Neat stuff like that.
